Two Way Street

Hello digital friends,

I was thinking tonight that it is strange that I would have a blog that is devoted to thoughts for prayer and not invite my digital friends to email me with prayers of their own. So, I thought I would do that. If there is a thought that you would like me to pray for, I’d be honored to do so. It could be an existential dilemna, or your Aunt Sally’s knee surgery. It might be gratitude or lament, descriptive or vague. You might know me very well, or perhaps you heard from a friend that I pray for people. Either way your prayer is a gift. I do realize that by responding you’ll expose yourself to the entire world, but this also means that the whole world can pray for you along with me. And, feel free to tell others, I’d be happy to pray for/with them as well.

Morgan will take her last final tomorrow and then in a few weeks, we will know if she is going to be able to get into nursing school. I just got an excellent new position at work with amazing hours and we are very thrilled. We are in the process of starting a community garden at work and that needs prayer as well. the project is waiting on our maint. man to find/share the irrigation plans for the property.

My brother’s wife left him about two weeks ago. She has been very depressed and felt trapped by being married…they only really dated each other. By brother has since started to go to church and is looking to join a good community. we are going to try and go see him this weekend.

Last thing…I can;t believe Jered bought a house…please pray that he gets a great roommate.
